On December 22, Elite Performance Academy athletes and family joined up with volunteers from the Christmas Exchange to pack up Christmas Hampers for families in need. The hampers include all the basic holiday dinner fixings like turkey, chicken, stuffing, carrots and potatoes, as well as some sweets for dessert. The Christmas Exchange also gives Giant Tiger certificates for families who can’t afford gifts. It was a great morning…the athletes worked hard, and a lot of people will have the same wonderful dinner that many of us take for granted.

Elite Football Camp II was a resounding success, as more than 50 young football players, ranging in age from 13-18, braved the threat of thunderstorms to hit Earl of March field in Kanata on Saturday, May 28. The storms held off, and the only thunder that could be heard was the crack of the pads as the boys were put through their paces by an All-Star cast of coaches that included multiple Grey Cup Championships, multiple Vanier Cup Championships, more than 2 decades of professional football experience, multiple years of NCAA coaching experience, and even the Technical Director of Football Canada!
