For the 1st time in Ottawa and Eastern Ontario, an NCAA Division 1 (FBS) coaching staff will join forces with Elite Football Academy to Coach Ottawa’s Football Elite!
This One-Day event will provide athletes with the opportunity to learn from the football coaches of the Syracuse Orange, including:
- Greg Adkins – OL and Recruiting Coordinator
- Steve Morrison – LB and Canadian Recruiting Coordinator
- Tim Daoust – DL
- Evan Rothstein – Quality Control, Offensive Backs and Receivers
- Stephen Brown – Quality Control, Operations/Recruiting
- William Hicks – Assistant Athletic Director for Athletic Performance
Working alongside the Syracuse staff will be the Elite Football Academy coaches:
- Pat Woodcock – WR and Camp Director
- Donnie Ruiz – DB and Camp Director
- Rob Hamm – OL and Camp Director

The Elite Football Academy Camp – with Special Guests Syracuse University – will take place on Sunday June 3, 2012 and will be hosted by Ashbury College in Rockcliffe. Registration will be limited to 16 players per position (QBs will be limited to 8). Registration will be on a 1st come – 1st served basis, and requires all forms AND payment be completed in order to confirm your position in camp. Players will require helmets, shoulder pads, cleats, mouthguards in order to participate. The age range is 14-18 years old, no exceptions!
Cost is $189, which includes:
- 2 full practices with Syracuse and EFA coaching staff
- Speed, Agilty, and Quickness Drills
- Lunch
- Elite Football Academy practice jersey
- Recruiting Seminar for Parents
The schedule will be made up of 2 full practices, with Individual Positional Periods and extensive Competitive Periods, including 1-on-1s and 7-on-7s. The morning session will include Speed, Agility, and Quickness Drills, with the coaching staff providing extensive instruction on the movement skills required to play at the next level.
