The football skills this camp enhanced on the field were clear and resulted in an obvious improvement. Equally, if not more important to me, was the off field mentoring, you each took the time to add life skills that were related to both improving his on-field performance and off field attitude. You all demonstrated the dual goal of developing better people while improving athletic skills. Lastly, thank you for letting me wander around during the training sessions and try to eavesdrop and pick up tips to improve my own coaching skills. The camp certainly met the high expectations I had going in. Awesome program, highly recommended.
In a time where schools are cutting back and removing extra curricular activities at school our kids are losing opportunities to actively participate in team sports and gain mentors in their sports fields. This makes programs such as yours even that much more invaluable. Thanks again!

I just wanted to thank you again for helping me over the summer. It really made a difference and I really appreciate it. I ran the pro agility in 4.21 and 4.22 seconds. I guess that 4.19 I ran last Monday wasn’t a fluke! The other test result went well. I had a 27″ vertical, 8’7″ broad jump, squatted 425lbs four times, benched 225lbs 13 times and cleaned 130kg twice.

This week’s Elite Training Tip is the Split Squat. The Split Squat is a Unilateral (1 limb at a time) exercise that involves standing in a split position and moving up and down on the front leg without moving the feet. Splits Squats are often confused with Lunges, the difference being that when performing Lunges the feet do not stay stationary, but move back to the start position with every rep.
At Elite Performance Academy, we use a variety of Split Squat variations in our programs in order to help our athletes achieve Structural Balance in the legs, which means that muscles are in balance with all other muscle groups. According to world-renowned Strength Coach Charles Poliquin,
