DSC_7958
Elite Football Academy joined forces with Syracuse University and created another positive learning experience to develop minor football players in the Nation’s capital. On June 3, future football stars from Ottawa and the surrounding area had the opportunity to take their game to the next level with the Elite Football Academy Camp, presented by Tony Graham Infinity Nissan. This Camp offered each player the opportunity to learn what NCAA Division I coaches teach their team and what they are looking for in future student-athletes.  The Elite Football Academy’s CFL Pro coaches, alongside the SU coaches, taught new drills and techniques at each position and got the players ready for an afternoon of competition.

Elite Performance Academy’s Director of Athlete Development, Pat Woodcock, is the Head Strength Coach for SSNCanada, the Sports Streaming Network.  SSN is Canada’s Home for University Sport, drawing upwards of 1 million website hits a month with live streams of  CIS sports and on-air reporting.

Coach Woodcock provides viewers with an Elite Training Tip of the Week, filmed on location at the Elite Performance Athletic Complex in Kanata.

At Elite Performance Academy, we use a variety of Split Squat variations in our programs in order to help our athletes achieve Structural Balance in the legs, which means that muscles are in balance with all other muscle groups.  According to world-renowned Strength Coach Charles Poliquin,

ARE YOU READY FOR THE NEXT LEVEL OF FOOTBALL DEVELOPMENT?
Football Camps are a great way for young players to improve their skill set and learn from Pros who played the game at the highest level.  Even College, University, and Professional teams have Training Camp to reinforce the Fundamental Skills that make you the best player you can be.  There is only 1 Elite Program that runs an extended Football Training Camp so that young players can get the reps and coaching they need to develop…..

While training Ottawa’s Elite athletes at ELITE PERFORMANCE ACADEMY, we’ve had numerous players and coaches tell us that they wanted access to the very best quality coaching possible, to be able to take their improved strength and athleticism and apply it to the development of  skills on the field. With our own professional football experience, along with our network of Professional Players/Coaches, CIS/NCAA Coaches, and Certified Football Canada Coaches, we created the ELITE FOOTBALL ACADEMY.

ELITE FOOTBALL ACADEMY will teach you the football skills you need to be at your very best on the field.  We offer programs primarily directed at athletes age 14-18 and can include on-field sessions, some in helmets and shoulder pads, as well as classroom sessions to take your Football IQ higher than it’s ever been.
