Zack brings previous knowledge to Elite Performance Academy, formerly working as an Assistant Strength Coach for Acadia Varsity Athletics and Acadia Performance Training. Zack specializes and brings knowledge in functional training and athletic performance.

Zack graduated from Acadia University with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and graduated from Algonquin College with a Graduate Diploma in Sport Business Management.

Zack played football for 5 seasons at Acadia and competed in the off-season in Track. During his 5-year football career he appeared in and dressed in each game from 2010-2014. Zack totalled 1,500 yards and won two AUS Championships with the Axemen.

Zack was the Axemen Rookie of the Year in 2010, The Coaches Leadership Award in 2014 and was Team Captain of the Axemen in his senior year. Off the field Zack was Acadia Athletic Department’s Male Citizen of the Year in 2014, combining volunteerism, academics and athletics.

Zack played in the 2013 CIS East-West Bowl showcasing the best upcoming prospects from the CIS. Zack has attended and been invited to workouts with the Edmonton Eskimos, Saskatchewan Roughriders, Winnipeg Blue Bombers and the Ottawa Redblacks of the CFL. Most recently Zack spent a season with the Ottawa Sooners of the CJFL helping lead them to the Ontario Football Conference Championship Game.

In high school Zack played high school football for the Sackville High Kingfishers, hockey for the Halifax McDonald’s Major Midget Hockey Club, and competed in the 100, 200 Metres in Track & Field with Chebucto Athletic Club.

His hockey success led him to roster spots on the Provincial team for Team Nova Scotia (U-15, U-16), a camp invite with Team Atlantic (U-17) and signing as a Free Agent with the Saint John Seadogs (QMJHL).

Currently Zack holds certifications in Coaching (NCCP Level 1), (CPR and AED Level C), (Football Canada Safe Contact) and is preparing to write his exam to obtain the CSCS Certification with the NSCA this summer.
