Myers Riders Varsity faced the toughest opposition so far this season when they defeated the Metro Toronto Wildcats Varsity 36-6. Playing in the game was a total of fourteen Elite Performance Academy athletes and alumni.

The defense played another strong game. John Allarie led the way with 13 points, with 2 solo tackles and 1 interception. Patrick Pankow was close behind with 9 points, with 2 batted balls and 1 solo tackle. Wade Gordon chipped in with 2 solo tackles, Liam MacDonald with 1 solo tackle, and Daniel Barker with 2 assisted tackles. Keenan Tanti and Taylor Matthews also helped with 2 and 1 solo tackles each, respectively.
Quarterback Matthew Duffy threw for the most yards yet this season after throwing for a total of 333 yards. He completed 17 of his 24 passes, three of which were touchdowns.
In the rushing department, Keenan Tanti rushed for a total of 13 yards.
Finally, wide receiver Jesse Skucas received one pass for a total of 27 yards.
The Myers Riders Varsity play the Oshawa Hawkeyes Varsity next, away from home on June. 21.
Cumberland Panthers Varsity
The Cumberland Panthers Varsity were made to work hard for their 22-11 victory over the Oshawa Hawkeyes Varsity.
Elite Performance Academy alumni Quarterback Justin Poitras faced some challenges as he completed 3 of his 16 passes, for a total of 71 yards thrown and 1 touchdown.
The Cumberland Panthers Varsity play the Toronto Thunder Varsity next, at home on June. 21.
